In the I-35 Speedway spotlight today we feature Manlee Lamar from Hamilton, Mo, driver of the ‪#‎4M‬‬ E-Modified. Manlee is 31 years young, and yes ladies, he is single, and got his start in racing by being a fan in the grandstands. Working for the city of Polo, MO, Manlee has been employed there for the last five years. Manlee got his start in racing as a teenager at the local drag strips in the area. Getting the itch to race, Manlee has raced drag cars for the past five years at US 36 Raceway and made the decision to go dirt racing this 2015 season. The number 4M on the E-Modified hot rod was on his car when he purchased it so he just went with it and is finding his groove at his home track, I-35 Speedway. Manlee would like to thank Steven Glenn for all the help and advice on the race car as he continues to learn. Manlee has the talent and determination to make his mark in the E-Modified division as just last week notched a fifth place finish in just his second or third feature event. Smooth and consistent is the best way to describe Manlee’s driving style as he brings his fast race car to the front of the pack. Let’s cheer on the fast #4m of Manlee Lamar as he heads to McCarthy Auto Group Victory Circle at I-35 Speedway, “Dirt Trackin at its Best”!
